New Justice of the Peace appointed
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Davis as a new part-time Justice of the Peace in Calgary, effective December 9, 2020.
Stephen received his B.A, B’Ed and LL.B degrees from the University of Calgary in 1984, 1986 and 1993. He is a partner at Hadley & Davis, a law firm in Calgary, Alberta where he practiced as a criminal defence lawyer for 15 years before shifting his focus into real estate and wills and estates. Prior to law, Stephen was a commissioned officer in the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserves and a junior and senior high school teacher in Calgary, Drumheller and Canmore.
Stephen has served on numerous committees and boards in his communities including being the President of the Calgary John Howard Society, the John Howard Society of Alberta and the John Howard Society of Canada.
