The Honourable Ritu Khullar will be sworn in as Chief Justice of Alberta on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in Courtroom 317 at the Edmonton Law Courts, 1A Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, Alberta.
This is a ceremonial occasion. The use of cameras without flash equipment will be permitted inside the courtroom. The Court will not permit the use of video equipment or TV cameras.
The proceedings will be available for virtual viewing. Details will be provided on the Alberta Court of Appeal’s website closer to the date of the swearing-in ceremony.
