The Honourable Joshua B. Hawkes will be sworn in as a Justice of the Court of Appeal of Alberta on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in Courtroom 1801 at the Calgary Courts Centre, 601 – 5th Street SW, Calgary, AB.
This is a ceremonial occasion. The use of cameras without flash equipment will be permitted inside the courtroom. The Court will not permit the use of video equipment or TV cameras.
The proceedings will be available for virtual viewing. Details will be provided on the Court of Appeal of Alberta’s website closer to the date of the swearing-in ceremony.
