The Honourable Karan Shaner will be sworn in as a Justice of the Court of Appeal of Alberta on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in Courtroom 317 at the Law Courts Building, 1A Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, Alberta.
This is a ceremonial occasion. The use of cameras without flash equipment will be permitted inside the courtroom. The Court will not permit the use of video equipment or TV cameras.
The proceedings will be available for virtual viewing. Details will be provided on the Court of Appeal of Alberta’s website closer to the date of the swearing-in ceremony.
