Announcements

The Provincial Court of Alberta is pleased to welcome eight new judges to the Bench to fill current vacancies. 

• Grace Auger has been appointed to Lethbridge/Southern Region, starting Aug. 3.
• Gordon Hatch has been appointed to Red Deer/Central Region, starting July 12.
• Sandra Mah has been appointed to Calgary Criminal Division and Calgary Region, starting Aug. 16.
• Karen Molle, QC, has been appointed to Calgary Criminal Division and Calgary Region, starting Aug. 9.
• Jason Neustaeter, QC, has been appointed to Wetaskiwin/Central Region, starting July 12.
• T. Michael Scrase has been appointed to Red Deer/Central Region, starting July 12.
• Gregory Shannon, QC, has been appointed to Calgary Civil Division, effective July 30.
• Olugbenga Shoyele, QC, has been appointed to Edmonton Criminal Division, starting July 12. 

These appointments assist to ensure that the Court is able to continue to provide a fair, accessible and timely system of justice for all Albertans.
